Two men were arrested Monday on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine in a West Side apartment in Monroe.
Trevor Smith, 18, and Austin Smith, 20, were tentatively charged with possession and manufacturing of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug trafficking place and possessing methamphetamine waste, Monroe police said.
The two men are related; police couldn't say if they were brothers.
A search warrant was executed at an apartment in the 300 block of Third Street on Monday morning, with agents of the State Line Area Narcotics Team, the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation, local police and Green county deputies taking part.
A small amount of methamphetamine and equipment and supplies to make methamphetamine were found during the search, with the two suspects arrested at the scene.
The case remains under investigation.
