Two people died in a three-vehicle crash Sunday in Dodge County, the sheriff’s office said.

A GMC Jimmy was traveling east on Highway R, in the westbound lane, about 5:30 p.m. when it struck a westbound Ford Ranger near Highway EM in the town of Emmet.

A Chevrolet Trailblazer, traveling west behind the Ford Ranger, struck both vehicles.

The female driver of the GMC and the male driver of the Ford were pronounced dead at the scene. Those vehicles had no passengers.

The three occupants of the Chevrolet were taken to Aurora Medical Center in Summit for injuries that were not life-threatening.

The sheriff’s office has not released the names of those involved.
