Mayor Dave Cieslewicz has said he will declare next Tuesday "On, Wisconsin!" Day, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first performance of the song.
A birthday bash will be held at 1 p.m. next Tuesday on the steps of the Memorial Union.
The event will include the Badger Band, a sing-along, and, of course, cake.
The UW-Madison Concert Choir will also give a nod to the song at a concert at Mills Hall, 455 N. Park St., on Friday, Nov. 13 at 8 p.m.
