President Barack Obama plans to begin airing television advertisements in Wisconsin starting on Wednesday, another sign of the state's increasing importance in the race.

The ads are the first in Wisconsin from Obama's campaign and they come after Republican Mitt Romney started running his own spots on Sunday.

Obama for America spokeswoman Gillian Morris said Tuesday the campaign will not provide details about the scope or size of the buy. She says the ad would not be made public until Wednesday.

The announcement comes as both Obama and Romney's campaigns are placing greater emphasis on Wisconsin and its 10 electoral votes. Romney running mate Paul Ryan planned to be in Green Bay on Wednesday and Vice President Joe Biden was to be in Eau Claire on Thursday.

Just what truth are we talking about here? The fabricated truth that liberal soak up like lemmings? The truths that the media sends out so people get nothing but distractions and don't get the real truth. Here is some real truth. Obama has failed. We have gone from 8.3 to 8.1 percent unemployment because 3 out of every 4 people have given up looking for a job. Yet it’s reported that we are "moving in the right way." Biden stated that Osama is dead and GM is Alive. Osama is dead admittedly by the interrogation techniques the last president used, and yesterday GM had to admit that there are some Americans paying just $5,050 to drive around for two years in a vehicle that cost as much as $89,000 to produce. The American tax payer is covering the difference. Oh but here is the good news. The biggest buyer of the failed GM Volt... The US Government! It is well known and accepted that in order for GM to survive; they will need a larger bailout then last time. He had to bail them out in order to pay back the unions. Hmmmm… I guess Governor Walker was right with what he did... And this is one of Obamas SUCESS stories. Should we talk about the stop he has put on oil production the life blood and security of this nation? How about the many other bailouts that have failed under his dictation?

Are we talking about the truth that more people are on welfare than ever before? Should we talk about the truth that Obama added more to national debt in first 19 months than all presidents from Washington through Reagan combined? Is this the “truth we’re talking about?

The U.S. ambassador to Libya and three embassy staff were killed yesterday by terrorist... This is an act of war. Oh I know… Big scary word to you liberals. Will Obama doing anything about it? Are you kidding?!?! No! He is too busy campaigning. He "condemned the attacks, while also calling on embassies across the globe to increase security." The White House declined Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's request on Tuesday to meet U.S. President Barack Obama during a UN conference in New York at the end of the month. This is one of our biggest Allies when it comes to true democracy. Let me ask you something, when did you liberals become such cowards?

Stop spewing off your liberal BS, because you want to convince yourself everything is okay. I understand you are on a liberal newspaper website, and this is a heaven for you so you don't have to deal with the real world. Outside of Madison, you don’t exist except for what the media tells people to believe. You have people on here who want to revise history to fit into their paradigm because the truth is too overwhelming to deal with. However, understand, just because you want something to be a certain way, doesn’t mean it really is. Go ahead and live in your fantasy land. Spin the facts and rewrite history all you want. But understand, truth is not on your side.

When you have truth on your side, like President Obama does, you are not desperate and you don't have to lie in your ads. Your ads focus on the issues and what the two candidates want to do about them.

But if you have been a flip flopper all your life, like Romney and Ryan have been, you don't want the focus on you so you personally attack your opponent. This is the reason why Romney and Ryan personally attack Obama on everything that is wrong in the world!

The American people see whats going on, and they are tired of thoese who are trying their best to divide the nation (Republicans). They want to move ahead and with President Obama they will!

Can we get Obama to run ads defending his record instead of attack ads!!!

He is obviously to chicken-sheet to do that.

With over $15 Million of unpaid debt from the mutual gratification fest the democrats just had in Charlotte, surprised Obama has any money left.

Deficit spending is a way of life for liberals though.

I'll be curious to see exactly what Obama advertises.

It certainly won't be the economy, after last weeks employment numbers we achieved the lowest workforce participation since 1981 at 63.5%. The unemployment number went down because people are just giving up. If the labor participation rate was the same as when Obama took office it would be 11.2%.

It won't be the green energy jobs that have cost the US taxpayers over 6 billion in guaranteed loans to companies that have failed.

It won't be GM that cost the US taxpayers 50 Billion dollars and that Forbes is now predicting will be facing bankruptcy again next year. Or that the Volt he so heavily promoted is selling at such a slow rate the factory has closed. That dealers are refusing to take new ones or that GM is losing 40K per unit sold. 3500 sold, most to the government vs a predicted rate of 40,000/yr.

It won't be the 4 Trillion dollars in new debt that we have accumulated and are passing down to our children to pay back.

It won't be that Moody's is going to downgrade our credit rating again, meaning that the one trillion we borrow each year is going to cost our kids more to pay back.

It won't be about Fast and Furious, or the evil bankers who caused this mess who he prosecuted.

Instead it will be about "hope and change" and negative attacks on Romney and wealthy people in general. Face it, we elected a guy who gave good speeches but was, and still is, completely unqualified for the job. The few ideas he had, or more succinctly, the few ideas his backers told him he had (GM/Green Energy/Environmentalists) have fallen flat. It is time for a change.

I hope Obama will convince the liberals of Wisconsin that he will support them the very same way he did during the Walker recall attempt.

Wisconsin will play an important role in the election, and President Obama knows it. It is about time for him to run some ads here to counter the lies coming out from the Republicans.

I note that Ryan has also decided to advertise in Wisconsin...but for his Congressional seat!. This is an indication that he feels the Romney/Ryan ticket may be doomed, and he prefersntot to join the ranks of being unemployed.

I think many Republicans must be thinking that because Wisconsin voters didn't recall Governor Walker, it means the majority of the voters have turned Republican and would vote for Romney. I highly doubt this is the case. Mitt Romeny looks VERY weak, not Presidential and changes his positions literally on a daily basis. I think people have had enough of his trickery!

President Obama won the state in 2008, and he will win again although by a little less margin. FOUR more years for the hard working President Obama.
