Gov. Scott Walker will debate Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett twice in May, leading into the gubernatorial recall election on June 5.
The Walker campaign issued a press release Wednesday afternoon, saying the debates will be on Friday, May 25 and Thursday, May 31.
The debates will be televised statewide.
The time and location of the debates was not disclosed.
The first debate will be hosted by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association and the second by WISN-TV12 UpFront host Mike Gousha, in partnership with Marquette University Law School, WisPolitics.com and the UpFront network of TV affiliates.
Barrett, who won the Democratic primary on Tuesday, called on the governor to have four debates earlier on Wednesday.
Madison.com called Barrett's campaign office to see if there will be additional debates, but there was no immediate response.
