The Madison Public Library is adding a second day each week for people to get one-on-one help from volunteer counselors with writing cover letters and resumes, searching for jobs online and other job-search skills.
The job help workshops have been occurring Mondays from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Central Library, 201 W. Mifflin St., and will now also be held Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m. at the same site. The Monday sessions continue through Nov. 16 and the Thursday sessions through Nov. 19. Call (608) 266-6350 to make an appointment. Those without an appointment will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
Counselors are also able to go over establishing free e-mail accounts and basic computer skills.
