Sunset Music Series
The East Side Club is hosting the 4th annual Sunset Music Series this summer. Angelica Garcia will perform from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Friday at 3735 Monona Drive. Garcia is an indie-rock/alt-rock/pop songwriter. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a local or regional artist, followed by Garcia. Food carts and lawn games are available, as well as the Tiki Bar. The music series supports surrounding neighborhood associations and other nonprofits. Cost: $5 in advance; $7 the day of the show; under 16 free. Information: escmadison.com.
Dinner and a Swim
Enjoy a swim at Goodman Pool with the opportunity to purchase dinner from a variety of local food trucks at Madison Parks’ Dinner and a Swim. Admission to the pool at 325 W. Olin Ave. is free from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Food carts scheduled to attend include: Noosh Food Cart; Cafe Costa Rica; Silk Road Gourmet; and Gourmet Kettle Corn. Elver Park Farmers’ Market
The Elver Park Farmers’ Market will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday at 1250 McKenna Blvd. Vendors at the market will offer sustainable fish, free-range meat, organic vegetables and herbs, cut flowers and homemade spaghetti sauce, in addition to watercolor paintings, wood crafts, and jewelry. Neighborhood ice cream social
Get to know your neighbors at an Ice Cream Social from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday. St Mark’s Lutheran Church, 605 Spruce St., will host Bay Creek Neighborhood residents with live music, ice cream sundaes and cookies. For more information on this free event visit baycreekmadison.org.
