Capital City Trail Day
The Friends of the Capital Springs Recreation Area is hosting a National Trails Day event along the Capital City State Trail from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. No trail pass is required. From 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., learn birdwatching basics at the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District Wildlife Observation Area, 1610 Moorland Road. The Attic Sale, a two-day resale event sponsored by the Attic Angel community, will take place this weekend at Keva Sports Center, 8312 Forsythia St., Middleton. Early bird shoppers may purchase a $10 ticket, starting at 7 a.m., to shop from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday. Tickets may also be purchased in advance at the Attic Angel Association. The sale is open to the public, at no charge, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Information: www.atticangel.org.
Concert at Olin Park
The free spring concert series returns to Olin Pavilion this week with The Whiskey Farm performing from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Concerts take place in the Olin Park pavilion, 1156 Olin-Turville Court. For more Information, go to: www.olin-turville.org.
A Play of Hand Bridge class, will be offered Tuesday at the Middleton Senior Center, 7448 Hubbard Ave. Eight sessions will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays and will be led by Phil Klein, a certified teacher. Call the senior center to register at 831-2373. The class fee is $80 and includes the student book.
