Here's a huge thank you to the UW Hospital and Clinics and the Best Western Inn Towner on Highland Avenue.
Being laid-off and existing on unemployment is tough, to say the least, and then Valerie, my wife, underwent outpatient surgery.
She was to be seen the following morning by her surgeon at the sports medicine center on Science Drive. For us to drive home after surgery only to return the following morning would have been a burden.
Through UW Hospital and the Inn Towner, a room was provided for us at no cost. We were informed this is done on a regular basis for people in similar situations.
The excellent care and professional attention we received cannot be put into words.
