The Foxconn deal is essentially a way to partially subsidize jobs for citizens.
It's ironic that some opposed to subsidizing employment in meaningful careers are, at the the same time, proponents of other government programs. These programs pay people to stay home and do nothing -- making a "career" of dependency on government support. That is no career at all.
What people are really opposed to is the "R" in a proponents' political affiliation.
Please tell me that people can't possibly be that childish.
