The United States was founded on the desire for the people of English colonies to enjoy and experience true freedom without government interference or oppression.
Our Founding Fathers had a wonderful vision to create a government where people could freely express themselves without reprisals or severe consequences. Our nation had solid biblical beliefs and ideologies that our U.S. Constitution was founded on.
We live in a very diverse and pluralistic nation today with so much potential for all citizens to achieve their best for the good of the whole because of the many freedoms we enjoy. And they were all made possible by the original framers and paid for with the blood, sweat, tears and supreme sacrifice of our military.
In 1867 the North American Review, the United States' first literary magazine, reported a truism still relevant today: "The American government and the Constitution is the most precious possession which the world holds or which the future can inherit. This is true -- because the American system is the political expression of Christian ideas."
