The five players in Milwaukee’s starting lineup combined to shoot 34 percent from the field as the Bucks dropped a 104-86 preseason decision to the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night at the Bradley Center.
The Bucks (0-2) played another game without All-Star player Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is away from the team following the recent death of his father.
Starters John Henson, D.J. Wilson, Khris Middleton, Malcolm Brogdon and Tony Snell shot a combined 12 of 35 from the field. Middleton led the group with eight points.
Gary Payton II scored 15 points in 20 minutes to lead Milwaukee.
Rashad Vaughn (14 points), Gerald Green (12) and Mirza Teletovic (11) were the other Bucks players to reach double figures in scoring.
Myles Turner and Lance Stephenson had 17 points apiece in the Pacers’ preseason opener.
