The University of Wisconsin athletic board approved a price increase for football tickets Friday.

UW will now charge $54 per ticket for games at Camp Randall Stadium, a $6 bump from what fans paid during the 2017 season.

The Badgers are scheduled to play seven home games in 2018  Western Kentucky (Aug. 31), New Mexico (Sept. 8), BYU (Sept. 15), Nebraska (Oct. 6), Illinois (Oct. 20), Rutgers (Nov. 3) and Minnesota (Nov. 24).

The price increase, UW's first in three years, is expected to generate an extra $2 million in revenue.
