The University of Wisconsin men's hockey team will finish 2017 at No. 13 in the USCHO.com Division I men's poll.

The Badgers on Monday fell one spot from last week's No. 12 ranking after suffering a pair of home losses to then-No. 4 Notre Dame last weekend.

The Fighting Irish moved up to No. 3, leading five Big Ten Conference teams in the rankings.

Ohio State climbed six spots to ninth after sweeping Minnesota, which fell three places to 10th.

Penn State advanced three spots to 15th. The Nittany Lions host the Badgers in both teams' next games, Jan. 5-6 in State College, Pennsylvania.

St. Cloud State took over the top spot in the USCHO rankings after previous No. 1 Denver tied Colorado College twice.
