A pair of University of Wisconsin players were recognized as players of the month by the Western Collegiate Hockey Association on Wednesday.
Sophomore center Abby Roque was the league's top offensive player in October, while sophomore Kristen Campbell was the top goaltender.
Roque has a point in 10 of the Badgers' 12 games and leads the league with 16 points.
Campbell leads the WCHA with a 1.00 goals-against average and is second with a .946 save percentage. She has won her first 12 starts, the longest run of victories to open a UW career.
The top-ranked Badgers host No. 4 Ohio State at LaBahn Arena on Saturday and Sunday.
