For the first time in five weeks, the University of Wisconsin men's hockey team has moved in the national rankings.

The Badgers were 17th in the Division I men's poll released Monday, moving up one spot from the place it had occupied for the previous four weeks.

UW split a series at Michigan last weekend, and the Wolverines also moved up one place to 19th.

Notre Dame regained the top spot in the rankings and led six Big Ten Conference teams in the rankings.

Ohio State fell one spot to sixth, while Minnesota stayed 12th and Penn State climbed one place to 16th.

The Badgers host Minnesota on Friday and Saturday.
