Dylan Hecker scored on runs of 1 and 19 yards in the fourth quarter and host UW-Oshkosh defeated UW-Platteville 22-13 in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup of nationally ranked football teams.

Eli Wettstein gave the Titans, ranked No. 5 in Division III, a 9-6 lead through three quarters with field goals of 21, 30 and 37 yards. Samuel Herkert kicked a pair of field goals for the Pioneers, ranked No. 7.

Herkert hit from 41 yards in the first quarter to make it 3-3 and put the Pioneers up 6-3 in the second with a 28-yarder to cap a 12-play, 64-yard drive.

Hecker put the Titans up 15-6 early in the third quarter before Platteville, which was held to its fewest passing yards (84) since the 2011 season, pulled within 15-13 with 7 minutes, 44 seconds remaining in regulation on a 7-yard scoring reception by Mitch Munda off a pass from Tom Kelly. But Hecker scored two plays later, capping a 62-yard drive with his 19-yard run.

Sean Studer rushed for 122 yards for Platteville.

No. 2 UW-Whitewater 24, UW-Stevens Point 2

Cole Wilber threw three first-half scoring passes, including two to Drew Patterson, as the host Warhawks defeated the Pointers.

Patterson rushed 31 times for 150 yards and caught touchdown passes of 26 and 14 yards.

The victory was the 29th straight at Perkins Stadium for the Warhawks, one shy of the school record.

Quarterback Kyle Larson was 27 of 56 for 310 yards for the Pointers but was intercepted three times.

UW-Eau Claire 20, UW-La Crosse 14

JT Denhartog rushed for a touchdown and threw for another and the host Blugolds defeated the Eagles.

UW-River Falls 50, UW-Stout 28

Michael Diggins rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns and caught a scoring pass from Sawyer Moon to lead the host Falcons over the Blue Devils.
