Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson and his wife Emily have added a third child to their family with the adoption of daughter Adda Joe.
The girl’s adoption was finalized in Texas last month, two days before the Packers were there to face the Cowboys, according to this story from WLUK-TV, the FOX affiliate in Green Bay.
Adda Jo joins the Nelson's two boys: 7-year-old Royal and almost 3-year-old Brooks.
"Our first son, I got pregnant with him very easily. After he was born we decided to have more. It wasn't as easy for whatever reason," Emily Nelson told WLUK. "But we knew we wanted more kids. Adoption was a better fit for us than any sort of fertility route."
