The Watertown boys basketball team jumped to a double-digit halftime lead and held off a late comeback attempt by Oregon to take a 61-57 victory in Badger South Conference play Monday night.

Senior Trevor Tietz had 18 points for the host Goslings (10-11 overall, 8-5 Badger South).

Junior Ethan Victorson had 17 points for Oregon (8-13, 5-8).

Jefferson 67, McFarland 63

Sophomore James Monogue made eight 3-pointers en route to 32 points as the visiting Eagles (9-12, 6-11) knocked off the Spartans (15-6, 14-3).

Trevon Chislom scored 19 points and Kodiak Wanta had 14 for McFarland. Wanta missed a potential tying 3-point shot with 6 seconds remaining.

Evansville 80, Brodhead 62

Sulley Geske scored 18 points and Zach Mielke had 17 points to help the host Blue Devils (9-12, 8-9) beat the Cardinals (7-14, 5-12).

Parker Johnson had 22 points for Brodhead.

Wisconsin Heights 85, Dodgeville 73

Clayton Caminiti scored 20 points and Joan Ayala had 19 points as the host Vanguards (17-4) beat the Dodgers (9-12).

Bryce Prochaska had 19 points for Dodgeville.

Marshall 66, Orfordville Parkview 61

Senior Reece Leistikow scored 33 points, making six of his team’s 13 3-pointers, to help the visiting Cardinals (7-14) beat the Vikings (13-8) to earn their seventh victory in nine games.

Aydon Campbell scored 24 points for Parkview.
