Madison Edgewood guard Sam Noyce has committed to further his education and play men’s basketball at Beloit College, Madison Edgewood boys basketball coach and athletic director Chris Zwettler confirmed.

Noyce was a first-team all-conference selection in the Badger South Conference. The 6-foot-1 Noyce was a first-team choice in the Small Schools Division (3, 4, 5) on the Wisconsin State Journal/ All-Area Boys Basketball Team.

Noyce averaged 18.8 points and 2.6 assists per game. He was the second-leading scorer in the Badger South. He shot 55 percent from the field and 76 percent from the foul line. He had 63 steals and 85 rebounds for the Crusaders.

Also committing to Beloit for men’s basketball was Fort Atkinson senior Tristan Shoup, according to a Twitter announcement.

The 6-5 Shoup was a second-team all-conference pick in the Badger South. He was an honorable mention pick in the Large Schools Division (1, 2) on the Wisconsin State Journal/ All-Area Boys Basketball Team.

Fort Atkinson advanced to a WIAA Division 2 sectional final, falling to eventual state runner-up Waunakee.
