Icy roads lead to closures

Baraboo police closed off a hilly section of Washington Avenue between Water and Second streets for much of the day Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, due to icy road conditions. Heavy rain falling on freezing cold pavement caused dangerous conditions around Sauk County and led schools in Baraboo, Reedsburg and Sauk Prairie to let out early Tuesday afternoon.
