The Madison La Follette girls basketball team made 22 free throws in the second half, rallying from a 17-point deficit over the final 10 minutes of play to beat visiting Janesville Craig 75-69 in a Big Eight Conference game Friday night.

Junior Kaitlyn Eder scored 13 of her 25 points in the second half and shot 13-for-16 from the line to lead the Lancers (7-6, 4-6 Big Eight).

Sophomore Nyenhial Riak added 15 points and sophomore Megan Lowrey scored all 10 of her points in the second half for La Follette.

Sophomore Hannah Dunlavy had 19 points and Cassie Goswick totaled 18 points to lead the Cougars (7-6, 4-6), who had three starters foul out.

Serenity Jackson added 12 points for West.
