Freshman Baluck Deang scored 22 points and senior Caitlin Link had 18 to lead the Madison Edgewood girls basketball team to a 62-56 victory over host Janesville Craig in non-conference action Tuesday night.

Sophomore Cassie Goswick scored 17 points for Craig (7-7), and Claudia Fieiras and Emily Pierson also scored in double figures.

Edgewood (11-3) made 16 more free throws than the Cougars, sinking 21 of 26 attempts.

Watertown Luther Prep 53, Poynette 50

Camella Kohl had 18 points and Alyssa Hildebrandt scored 10 as the visiting Phoenix (5-5, 2-2 Capitol North) defeated the Pumas (6-7, 1-3).

Ashlynn Klosky scored 16 points and Hanna Walters had 13 points for Poynette.

McFarland 56, Edgerton 35

Gabi Runde scored 16 points and Katie Rounds had 10 points as the visiting Spartans (8-6, 7-3 Rock Valley) beat the Crimson Tide (3-12, 1-10).

Bethany Oren scored 16 points and Jessica Danks had 12 points for Edgerton.

Jefferson 46, Evansville 20

The Eagles (12-0, 10-0 Rock Valley) remained perfect with a victory over the host Blue Devils (5-10, 3-8).

Stoughton 48, Lakeside Lutheran 39

Emma Kissling scored 11 points and Peighton Trieloff had 10 points to help the host Vikings (12-3) hold off the Warriors (8-6) in Lake Mills.

Lakeside Lutheran’s Kaitlyn Shadoski and Ashley Fritz each scored 10 points.

Wisconsin Rapids 70, Baraboo 57

The visiting Thunderbirds (2-13) took a 31-30 halftime lead, but the Red Raiders (5-9) took control in the second half as Breally Kautzer scored 18 of her 26 points after the break.

Baraboo got 16 points from Haley Hannagan and 15 points from Lia Kieck.

Wisconsin Dells 48, Lodi 42

Katelyn Meister scored 17 points and Jenna Mace had 10 points as the host Chiefs (13-1) defeated the Blue Devils (7-4) in a non-conference game.

Alana Gilles scored 16 points for Lodi.

Dodgeville 77, New Glarus 62

Senior Hannah Jones and freshman Olivia Argall each notched double-doubles as the Dodgers (13-2) took down the visiting Glarner Knights (7-8).

Jones scored 30 points and Argall had 18 points.

Senior Willow Lee led New Glarus with 21 points.

Fall River 48, Deerfield 36

Karlee Van Gysel scored 12 points as the eighth-ranked Pirates (13-1) topped the host Demons (4-9).

Jayme Fischer had 11 points to lead Deerfield.

Belleville 52, Ripon 48

Junior Rachael Heittola finished with 20 points to lead the Wildcats (11-5) over the visiting Tigers (3-9).

Sophomore Sophia Grady added nine points for Belleville. Senior Erin McNeill led Ripon with 11 points.

Wisconsin Heights 74, Argyle 64

The visiting Vanguards (6-9) took a 36-27 halftime lead and held on to beat the Orioles (11-3).
