Beaver Dam’s Aly Van Loo grabbed a rebound and scored at the regulation buzzer to force overtime, but Minnetonka (Minnesota) Hopkins got six points from Kayhla Adams in the extra period to take a 74-71 victory over the Golden Beavers in the St. Olaf Holiday Hoops Festival in Northfield, Minnesota.

The Royals (11-1) are ranked No. 1 in Minnesota by and are ranked as high as 13th nationally.

Beaver Dam (9-2) rallied from a 60-48 deficit with a 13-1 scoring run over the final 5 minutes, 30 seconds of regulation. But Hopkins quickly grabbed a 67-61 lead and led by at least three points the rest of the way.

Paige Buekers scored 23 points and Adams and Dlayla Chokolis added 17 each for Hopkins. Beaver Dam got 17 points from Tara Stauffacher and 12 points and 10 rebounds from Maty Wilke.

Madison Memorial 61, Milwaukee Messmer 35

Maya White Eagle scored 14 points and Brooke Peters had 11 points as the host Spartans (4-6) defeated the Bishops (5-5).

The Spartans opened a 33-20 halftime lead in the non-conference game.

Olivia Roberson scored 13 points for Milwaukee Messmer before fouling out.

Madison Memorial 60, Nation Ford (S.C.) 53

The Spartans (10-2) completed a 2-1 weekend in the Farm Bureau Insurance Classic in Roebuck, S.C., using a 14-8 run in the second half to pull away against the Falcons (8-6).

Memorial, which led by as many as 13 points in the late going, finished fifth in the eight-team Federal Bracket.

Cade Ellingson scored 23 points, going 7-for-7 from the free-throw line, and added five assists for the Spartans. Nick Caropreso added 20 points and seven rebounds and went 9-for-13 from the line.

Nation Ford got 20 points from guard Zeb Graham.

Monroe 78, Elkhorn 73

Kade King had 25 points and Brayden Zettle added 15 points as the host Cheesemakers (4-4) defeated the Elks (5-3). Vince Umnus scored 31 points for Elkhorn, making six 3-point baskets.

Westosha Central 51, Oregon 42

The visiting Falcons (7-1) finished the game on an 8-0 run for a non-conference win over the Panthers (5-4).

Junior Jaeden Zackery scored 15 of his 20 points in the second half to lead Westosha Central. Senior De'Andre Burrell totaled 17 points for Oregon.
