Paul Kujawski made a 42-yard field goal from the right hash with six seconds left to give visiting Watertown a 31-29 victory over Madison Edgewood in a Badger South Conference football game Friday night.

Five minutes prior, Murphy Penwell made a 28-yard field goal to give the Crusaders a 29-28 lead.

After Madison Edgewood took over on an interception, Watertown stopped Madison Edgewood with 2:59 left to set up the game-winning kick.

The Crusaders were trailing 28-12 before Jack McNeil threw two 30-yard touchdown passes to bring Madison Edgewood within two.

Madison Edgewood outgained Watertown through the air 324-231.

Thomas Hartlieb caught nine passes for 236 yards for the Crusaders.

Stoughton 18, Monroe 0

Brady Schipper rushed for 208 yards on 31 carries, including a 76-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, to lift the undefeated Vikings past the host Cheesemakers, last year’s Badger South Conference champions.

Stoughton’s defense limited Monroe to 10 yards passing and forced three turnovers in the shutout.

Dempzy Foley rushed 19 times for 81 yards for Monroe.

Monona Grove 46, Fort Atkinson 7

Jackson Thomsen gain 110 yards on only 10 carries and scored three first-half touchdowns to lead the Silver Eagles in a runaway victory over the host Blackhawks.

Monona Grove quarterback Alec Ogden completed 16 of 20 passes for 262 yards and two scores, and added a 1-yard rushing touchdown.

Lucas Gerlach made six receptions for 106 yards and a second-quarter score that put Monona Grove up 43-0.

Oregon 41, Milton 6

Kardelle Phillips caught six passes for 219 yards and scored three touchdowns as the host Panthers blew past the Red Hawks.

Cedric Girard tossed a 16-yard scoring pass to Keion Szudy in the second quarter and an 88-yard touchdown pass to Phillips in the fourth for Oregon.

Dan Weitzel finished with 196 passing yards for Milton.

Badger North

Waunakee 64, Portage 7

Javian Dayne rushed for a pair of touchdowns in the first half to power Waunakee over visiting Portage in a Badger North Conference contest.

Dayne totaled 133 yards on 16 carries. Kamden Olsen added 96 yards rushing and two touchdowns.

Lucas Statz scooped up a fumble and ran for a 24-yard score to put Waunakee ahead 50-0 in the second quarter.

Beaver Dam 30, Reedsburg 20

Blaiz Firari ran for 139 yards and scored three touchdowns as the visiting Golden Beavers overcame an early 14-point deficit to cruise past the Beavers.

Kendric Jimenez threw for 158 yards and a score for Beaver Dam.

Casey Campbell totaled 179 yards from scrimmage and scored all three Reedsburg touchdowns.

DeForest 53, Sauk Prairie 16

Trey Schroeder threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns to help the visiting Norskies pull away from a tight start to defeat the Eagles.

Mason Scheel added a pair of rushing scores and 130 yards. Bryce Duffy caught four passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns.

Dawson Evert had 200 passing yards and ran for a 4-yard touchdown for Sauk Prairie.

Mount Horeb /Barneveld 45, Baraboo 0

Malik Winston ran for 154 yards and Luke Hagelin threw for 109 more to help the host Vikings cruise past the Thunderbirds.

The Mount Horeb defense held Baraboo to 75 rushing yards and 87 passing yards.

Travis Klassy opened the scoring with a 58-yard touchdown pass from Hagelin.
