Stoughton senior Tommy McClain announced via Twitter that he has orally committed to play football at St. Cloud State in Minnesota.

The 6-foot-3, 250-pound McClain was selected as a first-team selection as a defensive lineman on the Badger South all-conference team. He was named an all-region selection by the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association as a defensive lineman and was an honorable-mention choice on the Wisconsin State Journal/Wisconsin PrepZone.com All-Area football team.

St. Cloud State is an NCAA Division II program.

He tweeted: “Extremely excited and blessed to announce that I have committed to play football and further my education at St. Cloud State!!! Thank you to everyone for the support!!!”
