Zach Mielke passed for 349 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another score Friday night, leading the Evansville/Albany football team to a 50-42 victory over East Troy in Rock Valley Conference play.

The victory lifted Evansville/Albany to 4-3 overall and 4-3 in the Rock Valley Conference. The Blue Devils have won four consecutive games.

Tony Paschal accounted for 98 of the Blue Devils’ 186 rushing yards.

Jake Dessart passed for 196 yards and rushed for 281 for the Trojans (4-3, 4-3) in the loss. Dylan Jakscht added 141 yards to East Troy’s total of 426 yards rushing.

Jefferson 42, Beloit Turner 27

The host Eagles (6-1, 6-1) accumulated 334 rushing yards to power past the Trojans (5-2, 5-2) in a battle for second place in the Rock Valley.

Evan Anfang rushed for 174 yards on 20 carries and scored two touchdowns. Nolan Klawitter had three total touchdowns, and rushed for 153 yards for Jefferson.

Juan Reyes caught 10 passes for 146 yards and recorded two rushing scores for Beloit Turner.

Edgerton 40, Walworth Big Foot 34

Jaden Johnson threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Mason Simmons and rushed for a 4-yard touchdown as the Crimson Tide erased an eight-point deficit in the fourth quarter to defeat the host Chiefs.

Big Foot took a 28-26 lead on a Jack Gillingham interception return for a touchdown in the third quarter.

Johnson finished with 232 yards passing and 109 yards rushing for Edgerton.

Clinton 48, McFarland 6

Zach Krause rushed for 249 yards and four touchdowns to lead the host Cougars (7-0, 7-0 Rock Valley) over the Spartans (2-5, 2-5).

SWAL

Cuba City 36, Mineral Point 7

Andy Clendenen threw for 205 yards and three touchdowns to carry the Cubans (5-2 overall, 5-0 SWAL) over the host Pointers (5-2, 3-1) in a battle for the conference lead.

Caden Jackson scored Mineral Point’s lone touchdown, a 7-yard pass from Isaac Lindsey.

Ryan Hoppenjan caught two touchdown passes and had 88 receiving yards.

Mason Erschen added 84 receiving yards and caught a 39-yard touchdown.

Southwest Wisconsin

River Valley 61, Richland Center 13

Shane Liegel and Will Bergman rushed for a combined five touchdowns and 174 yards to lead the host Blackhawks (4-3, 2-1 Southwest Wisconsin Conference) past the Hornets (3-4, 1-2).

River Valley’s Justin Yanke passed for 134 yards and two TDs.

Brooks McCarvel rushed for 111 yards for Richland Center in the loss.

Platteville 55, Dodgeville 0

Ethan Bernhardt threw for 301 yards and five touchdowns as the Hillmen (6-1, 2-1 Southwest) beat the host Dodgers (3-4, 0-3).

Trailways Large

Dodgeland 21, Pardeeville 14

Nate Oestreich scored two touchdowns and totaled 90 yards from scrimmage to help the Trojans (4-3, 3-1 Trailways Large Conference) hand the host Bulldogs (5-2, 3-1) their first conference loss.

Nicholas Cerro had four catches for 71 yards and a score and Jacob Schommer ran for 97 yards to lead Pardeeville.

Trailways Small

Fall River 22, Deerfield 0

Tanner Liebenthal had 105 of Fall River’s 305 rushing yards to lead the Pirates (6-1, 5-0) past the host Demons (2-5, 2-3).

Luke Figol, Davyen Braker and Same Nelson all rushed for scores for Fall River.

Tyler Haak threw for 116 yards for Deerfield.

Johnson Creek 44, Randolph 11

Senior Brent Berger ran for 124 yards and junior Anthony Purpi added 122 yards to carry the host Bluejays (6-1 overall, 4-1 Trailways Small) in a rout over the Rockets (0-7, 0-5).

Purpi opened the scoring with a 50-yard run and later returned a kickoff 83 yards for a touchdown.

Johnson Creek outrushed Randolph, 259-77.
