Waunakee senior Riley Zuhde announced via Twitter that he has orally committed to play football at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The 6-foot, 165-pound Zuhde was an all-Badger North Conference selection at wide receiver.

He had 39 catches for 799 yards and 10 touchdowns for Waunakee (14-0), which won the Badger North title and the WIAA Division 2 state title.

He also rushed for a touchdown and returned a kick for a score. He was named to the second team of the Wisconsin State Journal All-Area Football team.

Augustana University is an NCAA Division II program.

Cambridge basketball players commit

Cambridge boys basketball player Jacob Horton, a 5-11 senior guard, announced via Twitter he has orally committed to play men’s basketball at North Dakota College of Science, a NJCAA program in Wahpeton, North Dakota.

Cambridge girls basketball player Elyssa Stein, a 6-0 senior forward, has committed for women’s basketball at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa.
