Senior Dayne Leonard scored the game-winning goal at 5:40 of overtime to give the Sauk Prairie co-op boys hockey team a 3-2 win over visiting Baraboo/Portage in a Badger North Conference game Saturday night.

Travis Austin and Willy Hanson each added a goal for the Eagles (15-4-1, 5-4-1). Dane Hinz recorded 51 saves and Campbell Koseor netted a goal for the Thunderbirds (8-16, 4-6).

University School of Milwaukee 3, Sun Prairie 2 (OT)

Tyler Herzberg netted the game-winning goal at 1:24 of overtime as the visiting Wildcats (21-3) defeated the Cardinals (18-5-1) in a non-conference game. Travis Kernen and Benett Halbleib each scored a goal and had an assist for Sun Prairie. Robby Newton scored once and tallied an assist for the University School of Milwaukee, which is ranked second in the coaches poll. Four of the game's five goals were scored during the second period.

Monroe co-op 2, Greendale co-op 1 (OT)

Colton O’Connor tallied the game-winning score with 44 seconds left in overtime to lift the host Cheesemakers (4-18-2) to a non-conference win over the Ice Force (6-17-0). Cade Janake and Payton Stauffacher received credit for an assist on the goal, and Stauffacher also scored in the second period. Heath Bear had 38 saves for the Cheesemakers.

Janesville co-op 5, Beloit Memorial 2 co-op

Senior Kyler Kobs netted a pair of goals as the visiting Bluebirds (7-16, 6-8 Big Eight Conference) pulled past the Purple Knights (8-16, 2-12).

Casper Clark and Aiden Saunders each scored for Beloit Memorial.

Madison Edgewood 3, Wausau West 1

Carter Hottmann scored twice and Ben Cegelski made 47 saves to help the host Crusaders (18-4-2) pick up a non-conference win over the Warriors (15-7-2).

Drew Lenz added a goal and an assist and Jake Schmaltz tallied three assists for Edgewood.

Middleton 2, Fond du Lac 2

The visiting Cardinals (11-11-2) skated to a non-conference tie with the Cardinals (10-13-1).

Stoughton 2, Viroqua 1

The visiting Vikings (10-13-1) slipped past the Blackhawks (2-16-3) for a non-conference victory.

Oregon 5, Brookfield Central co-op 3

The host Panthers (17-7) cruised past the Stars (6-17-1).

Girls Hockey

Sun Prairie co-op 3, Cedarburg co-op 1

Colleen Milligan scored a goal and had an assist as the visiting Cougars (17-6-1) beat the Lightning (7-17) in a non-conference game. Megan Wachter scored a goal and Kami McCardle notched 33 saves for Cedarburg. Mesa Meyer and Amanda Bauer scored for Sun Prairie, which is ranked eighth in the coaches poll.

Schofield D.C. Everest 5, Fond du Lac/Beaver Dam 2

Kenna Bailey scored a short handed goal as the host Storm (15-8), fourth-ranked in the coaches poll, scored the game's final five goals to defeat the Warbirds (16-8). Drew Deanovich netted a goal and had an assist for 10th-ranked Fond du Lac/Beaver Dam. Eden Gruber and Kassidy Oliva scored goals for Schofield D.C. Everest.

Hartland Arrowhead 3, Stoughton co-op 0

Mary Kremer recorded a hat trick to lead the visiting Warhawks (9-14-1) past the Icebergs (6-16-0).

Green Bay East co-op 4, Middleton co-op 1

Katerina Zrnova scored twice as the host Ice Bears (9-11-3) scored the game's final four goals to defeat the Metro Lynx (7-15-1). Ally Conybear netted a goal for Middleton. Jordyn Kadrlik added a goal for Green Bay East.
