Drake Baldwin scored two goals and had an assist to lead the Madison West boys hockey team to a 3-2 victory over Madison Memorial in a WIAA regional final Thursday night at Madison Ice Arena.

Colin Pulkraber scored the other goal for West (17-6-2), which will visit top-seeded Verona on Tuesday in a semifinal of the Madison sectional.

Jack Faulkner and Jack Helle each scored for Memorial (13-9-3).

Verona 10, Monona Grove 0

Brockton Baker had a hat trick and provided two assists as the host Wildcats (18-3-3) beat the Silver Eagles (6-18-1).

Mason McCormick scored two goals and Jake Osiecki had a goal and five assists.

Sun Prairie 8, Middleton 3

Travis Kernen scored two goals and had an assist as host Sun Prairie (19-5-1) scored five first-period goals to defeat Middleton (11-12-2) to advance to the Madison sectional and keep its hope alive for a return state tournament trip.

Andrew Chafe netted two power-play goals for Middleton. Benett Halbleib scored once and had four assists for Sun Prairie, which will visit Madison Edgewood on Tuesday.

Madison Edgewood 7, Waunakee 0

Jake Sevenz scored two goals to lead the host Crusaders (19-4-2) past the Warriors (12-12-1).

Drew Lenz, Hunter Stracka and Carter Hottmann each scored a goal for Edgewood.

Onalaska 7, DeForest 1

Jacob Dirks netted a hat trick as the host Hilltoppers (19-6) scored five first-period goals to defeat the Norskies (4-20) to advance to the Onalaska sectional.

Trent Bachman scored once for DeForest. C.J. Lass added a goal and two assists for Onalaska.

Reedsburg co-op 5, Baraboo/Portage 2

Derek Pawlak scored four goals to lead the host Cheavers (19-5-1) past the Thunderbirds (8-17) in the Onalaska sectional.

Dylan Brown added a goal for Reedsburg. Cameron Logan and Mike Wech each netted goals for Baraboo/Portage.

Janesville co-op 6, Beloit Memorial co-op 5 (OT)

Kyler Kobs scored the winning goal in overtime to lead the host Bluebirds (7-16-0) past the Purple Knights (8-16-0) in the Brookfield sectional.

Ben Coulter scored four goals and assisted on the game-winner for Janesville. Casper Clark scored four goals for Beloit.

West Salem/Bangor 4, Sauk Prairie co-op 0

Richard Brown netted two goals as the host Panthers (18-7) took down the Eagles (15-5-1) in the Onalaska sectional.

Dakota Pickhard recorded 29 saves for Sauk Prairie.

Jake Whitbeck added a goal for West Salem/Bangor.

Waukesha North co-op 5, Stoughton 0

The host Stars (18-4-3) rolled past the Vikings (9-14-1) at Naga-Waukee Park in Delafield to advance to the Brookfield sectional.

Sun Prairie co-op 6, Viroqua co-op 0

Colleen Milligan had a hat trick and two assists as the host Cougars (17-6-1) beat the Blackhawks (10-12-0) to advance to the Madison sectional. Amanda Bauer also scored for Sun Prairie, a state semifinalist last year.

Black River Falls co-op 5, Stoughton co-op 0

Khloe Spors scored two goals as the host Tigers (16-7-1) shut out the Icebergs (6-17). McKenzie Nisius had 45 saves for Stoughton. Reghan Yourell scored once and had an assist for Black River Falls.
