Tyler Smock at 152 pounds, Zach Swiggum at 182 and Colten Wall at 220 each earned pinfall victories to help the visiting Prairie du Chien wrestling team defeat River Valley 45-24 in a Southwest Wisconsin Conference dual Thursday night.

The two teams are each ranked in the top six in this week’s WIWrestling.com Division 2 rankings. Prairie du Chien is fourth, while River Valley is currently sixth.

Second-ranked Stephen Ronnfeldt, of Prairie du Chien, earned a narrow 9-8 win over Brock Mahoney at 195 pounds.

River Valley’s Caleb Radtke, ranked second at 132 pounds, earned a 15-14 decision victory over 10th-ranked Reid Koenig.

Deerfield 36, Orfordville Parkview 36

Ray Bach (126) and Ehren Ezzell (170) each scored a pin victory to help the visiting Demons tie the Vikings in a Trailways Conference meet. Korben Brown (145) and Gavon Brown (182) pinned their opponents for Orfordville Parkview.

Oconomowoc 40, Watertown 34

Marco Contreras, Jaden Scully and Sawyer St. George recorded pins as the Raccoons defeated the host Goslings in a non-conference dual. Edward Wilkowski, Julian Ruiz and Nick Logan scored pin victories for Watertown.

Madison La Follette 46, Janesville Parker 32

Kyle Smith (132) and Alejandro Martinez (160) each pinned their opponents in under one minute to lead the Lancers over the visiting Vikings in a Big Eight Conference daul. Tristan Buol (106) and Aleczander Anderson (195) each scored a pin victory for Janesville Parker.

Johnson Creek 52, Horicon 27

Mateah Roehl earned a pinfall win in 26 seconds at 106 pounds as the visiting Bluejays scored eight pin victories en route to the win over the Marshmen in a Trailways Conference dual.

Boys Hockey

Stoughton 5, Monona Grove 4 (OT)

Austin Sieling scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the host Vikings (3-9-0, 2-3-0) past the Silver Eagles (3-7-0, 2-3-0) in a Badger South Conference clash. Monona Grove’s Brett Zapp and Garret Vinge each netted third-period goals to help force overtime. Sam Wahlin had a goal and an assist, and Jared Bauer scored and tallied two assists for Stoughton. Tanner Smith recorded a pair of goals and an assist for the Silver Eagles.

Sauk Prairie 2, Beaver Dam 1

Senior Aziah Webster scored two goals, including the game-winner on a power play with one minute remaining, as the visiting Eagles (9-1-1, 3-1-1) took down the Golden Beavers (5-8, 2-4). Senior Jay Kirschbaum scored a power play goal to knot the score at one in the third period for Beaver Dam. Sophomore Jay Liedtke assisted on the game-winning goal for Sauk Prairie.

Big Eight Conference

Sun Prairie 4, Madison Memorial 1

Kaden Brunson scored two goals to lead the Cardinals (12-1-0, 7-1-0) over the host Spartans (6-6-2, 3-4-0).

Benett Halbeib tallied three assists for Sun Prairie.

Parker Lindauer scored Madison Memorial’s lone goal.

Janesville 10, Madison La Follette/East 0

Kyle Ward, Conor Joyce and Hayden Funk each scored two goals as the Bluebirds (2-11-0, 2-5-0) topped the visiting Lakers (0-12-1, 0-8-0).

Ben Coulter scored a goal and tallied five assists for Janesville.

Girls Hockey

Fond du Lac/Beaver Dam co-op 7, Middleton co-op 1

Alyssa Heim and Hattie Verstegen each scored two goals as the host Warbirds (9-3-0, 1-1-0) defeated the Metro Lynx (4-10-0, 2-3-0). Ally Conybear scored Middleton’s lone goal.

Rock County Championships

Freshman Ben Saladar won the 200-yard individual medley and 100 butterfly to help Beloit Memorial claim the meet title with 824 points. The Purple Knights won eight of the 11 events and earned meet records in both the 200 and 400 freestyle relay. Janesville Parker finished in second with 581 points, as senior Ethan Griffith won a pair of individual events. Janesville Craig came in third and Milton took fourth.

Girls gymnastics

Middleton 136.65, Verona/Madison Edgewood 120.65

Karina Sabol won the vault, balance beam and floor exercise as the host Cardinals topped Verona/Madison Edgewood in a Big Eight Conference dual.

Jefferson 127.000, Waterford 126.925

Audry Wright won the vault with a score of 8.550 and earned all-around honors (32.375) as the host Eagles defeated the Wolverines in a Southern Lakes Conference dual.
