The Sun Prairie wrestling team won five weight classes by pin Friday night on its way to a 61-17 victory over visiting Fort Atkinson in a non-conference dual meet.

The Cardinals’ pin winners were Juan Jimenez at 120 pounds, Dominick Stroede at 138, Devon Bournonville at 160, Brendan Shannon at 182 and Isaac Tess at 285.

Portage 40, DeForest 34

Dylan Golke scored a major-decision win at 138 pounds as Portage received six forfeit victories in the win over the host Norskies in a Badger North Conference dual.

Waunakee 57, Beaver Dam/Wayland 10

Zachary Marek (160), Ben Statz (170) and Luke Hooker (182) each won by pin to help the host Warriors top the Golden Beavers in a Badger North dual.

Watertown 67, Monona Grove/McFarland 10

Clayton Goodman (152), Christian Rojano (170), Matt Brewster (220) and James Sippel (285) secured pinfall victories to help the visiting Goslings top the Silver Eagles in a Badger South dual.

Wisconsin Dells 42, Nekoosa 31

Gabe Kingsley and Travis Hudack each earned pin victories to help the host Chiefs beat the Papermakers in a South Central Conference dual.

Nathan Gallerup (106) and Gavin Hall (113) each scored pins for Nekoosa.

Connor Duncan scored the game-winning goal in the third period off assists from Charlie LaPlount and Braeden Monroe as the Avalanche (8-1) defeated the Norskies (1-6). Jack Hagen and Trent Bachman scored goals for DeForest.

Sun Prairie 3, Onalaska 2

Benet Halbleib scored two goals as the Cardinals (9-1) beat the Hilltoppers (7-3). C.J. Lass and Mason Manglitz scored goals for Onalaska.

Monona Grove 8, Monroe co-op 1

Senior Jack LeMire scored a goal and assisted on another in the first period as the host Silver Eagles (2-4, 2-2) took down the Cheesemakers (2-8, 1-3). Luke Koberski netted a goal for Monroe.

Sauk Prairie 5 co-op, Beaver Dam 3 co-op

Camden Desroches scored three goals as the host Eagles (8-1, 2-1) beat the Beavers (4-5, 2-2). Clay Scheffler, Jay Kirschbaum and Brock Brendemihl scored goals for Beaver Dam.

Verona 3, Green Bay Notre Dame 3

Sophomore Cale Rufenacht scored two goals as the Wildcats (7-2-2) and the Tritons (6-2-1) played to a tie. Bryce Poshak had a second-period goal in the draw for Green Bay Notre Dame.

Elise Olson, Colleen Milligan and Amanda Bauer each scored goals as the Cougars (8-2-1, 4-1 Badger Conference) beat the Blackhawks (4-4-0, 2-2-0) to maintain a grip on the conference lead.

Sierra Berg netted a hat trick and Jenna Jurrens had three assists as the visiting Lynx (3-7-0, 2-3-0 Badger) topped the Icebergs (2-7-0, 1-3-0).
