Sun Prairie senior defensive back Caden White has orally committed to play football at the University of North Dakota, according to a Twitter report from “UNDFootball360,” which discusses North Dakota football but is not affiliated with the university.
The 6-foot-3, 195-pound White could project as a defensive back or outside linebacker in college. He also played wide receiver for Sun Prairie, which advanced to the WIAA Division 1 state title game.
His teammate, senior defensive back Kadon Kauppinen, previously committed to North Dakota for football.
According to UNDFootball360, Mequon Homestead linebacker Mike Bruner also committed to North Dakota, an NCAA Division 1 program in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Madison East’s Justice Filip reaches basketball milestone
Madison East senior guard Justice Filip surpassed the 1,000-point mark for her high school girls basketball career during the Purgolders’ victory over Beloit Memorial on Thursday, Madison East coach James Adams said.
Filip scored 24 points in a 96-53 victory over Beloit Memorial (to give her 1,002 Adams said), then added 15 in a 52-48 victory over Madison Memorial on Saturday.
