MILWAUKEE — Nicholas Cheung scored the go-ahead goal in the 64th minute on a penalty kick to help the Milwaukee Marquette boys soccer team win its fourth consecutive state championship, defeating Hartland Arrowhead 2-1 in the WIAA Division 1 final Saturday at Uihlein Field.

The victory gives the Hilltoppers (20-3-1) 13 state titles in 17 state tournament appearances since 2000.

Marquette took the lead in the 16th minute on an own goal by Arrowhead before Danny Durand answered on a shot from the left side early in the second half for the Warhawks (16-4-3).

Carter Abbott made a pair of saves to get the win for the Hilltoppers, which completed the second four-peat in program history.

Luis Garduno scored the lone goal of the game in the second minute, propelling the Hawks (18-4-3) to their sixth state championship in school history with a victory over the Clippers (18-6-2).

It was Racine Prairie’s first visit to the state tournament since 2014, when the Hawks also won the state title. The Hawks have now won six championships in eight trips to state.

Koda Fletcher assisted on the goal, finding Garduno in the 18-yard box. It was the Hawks' only shot on goal in the match.

Will Sullivan made two saves for Racine Prairie, both on shots by Adison Benszinger.
