The Madison West girls tennis team moved up from third to second in Division 1 in this week’s Wisconsin High School Tennis Coaches Association girls tennis state rankings, which were released Sunday night.

Madison Memorial was ranked fifth, after being sixth-ranked last week. Sun Prairie received honorable-mention recognition this week.

Mequon Homestead again was top-ranked.

In Division 2, Milwaukee University School remained No. 1. Madison Edgewood stayed at No. 6.
