Dear Editor: I am so sick and tired of waking up to news of yet another mass shooting. I am sick and tired of politicians giving their condolences and prayers, but nothing else. I am sick and tired of hearing that the "cause" of these mass shootings is mental health and not the weapons that are utilized. I am sick and tired of searching for a "motive" behind these heinous acts and that "now isn't the time to talk about gun control." I am sick and tired of politicians being bought by the NRA and not listening to the majority of the American people. I am sick and tired of crying for the loss of innocent lives who were doing nothing but going to church, to school, to a movie, to a concert, to work or even shopping when all of a sudden bullets start flying. I am sick and tired of being afraid, frustrated, angry and feeling hopeless that maybe one of these gun-induced massacres might finally "touch" the politicians who have the power to stop it. Like many Americans, I am just sick and tired and that kind of mental attitude can be dangerous in and of itself.
