CALEDONIA — A Caledonia man is facing multiple counts of possession of child pornography after Racine County sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant at his residence on Tuesday.
Timothy J. Johnson, 32, of the 4000 block of North Main Street, was being held Tuesday night in the Racine County Jail on multiple pending counts of possession of child pornography and a count of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a Sheriff’s Office press release.
A small child was at the residence and was turned over to Child Protective Services, the release said.
“Yet another revolting pedophile was targeted and arrested,” Sheriff Christopher Schmaling said in a statement to The Journal Times. “Every time child pornography is viewed, the innocent child is victimized again, again and again. These types of cases are extremely labor-intensive but well worth it (to resolve).”
The Caledonia Police Department assisted the Sheriff’s Office, the release said.
