Two UW players hurt The University of Wisconsin could be without two pieces of its defensive line for an extended amount of time.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported in this story that junior end Garrett Rand recently suffered an Achilles injury during summer workouts and could miss the entire 2018 season.
Redshirt sophomore end Isaiahh Loudermilk underwent knee surgery earlier this spring to address previous injuries, the report said.
The paper said head coach Paul Chryst addressed the status of both players before a UW golf outing Tuesday: "Isaiahh is going through (rehab) and we'll see where he is at with it. Isaiahh has been doing more, which is good. ... Garrett will be further away. I haven't gotten the official update."
