Senior Kate Carlson scored 28 points, making all 10 of her free throws, to lead the Madison West girls basketball team to a 77-59 victory over visiting Kenosha Indian Trail in a WIAA Division 1 regional quarterfinal Tuesday night.

Senior Serenity Jackson had 15 points for the Regents (6-16).

Kendall Wilhelmson had 27 points for the Hawks (4-19).

Kenosha Bradford 65, Beloit Memorial 36

Juniors Sydney Strelow and Grace Scalzo each scored 21 points to lead the host Red Devils (8-15) over the Purple Knights (2-21) in the Janesville Craig sectional.

Senior Aniah Williams led Beloit Memorial with 12 points.

Division 2

McFarland 58, Mount Horeb 51

Katie Hildebrandt scored 21 points and senior Katie Rounds had 20 points to lead the Spartans (14-9) over the visiting Vikings (3-20).

Freshman Julia Magnuson scored 17 for Mount Horeb.

Elkhorn 50, Fort Atkinson 43

Haley Remington finished with 16 points as the host Elks (10-13) topped the Blackhawks (2-21).

Junior Payton Christensen added 14 points for Elkhorn.

Senior Sarah Pfeifer and sophomore Anna Schoenike each scored 10 points for Fort Atkinson.

Division 3

Lake Mills 56, Kenosha St. Joseph 55

The Lancers (9-14) missed a pair of free throws and multiple putback attempts in the final five seconds as the visiting L-Cats (5-16) held on for the win.

Kayla Will scored 15 points and Jada Pitta had 12 to lead Lake Mills.

Division 4

Wisconsin Heights 57, Onalaska Luther 49

Ashlee Adler scored 18 points and the Vanguards (9-14) erased a seven-point deficit to beat the visiting Knights (8-15).

Senior Karlee Adler finished with 16 points for Heights.

Junior Kaitlyn Kennedy led Luther with 21 points.

Waterloo 53, Orfordville Parkview 43

Junior Kaitlyn Filter scored 14 points and junior Brittney Limoseth had 13 as the host Pirates (9-14) beat the Vikings (10-13).

Amber Hudson had 18 points for Parkview.

Belleville 85, Johnson Creek 19

Rachel Heittola finished with 25 points to lead the host Wildcats (14-9) over the Blue Jays (2-20).

Freshman Ceci Grefsheim added 10 points for Belleville. Sophomore Sophia Grady scored nine for the Wildcats.

New Glarus 74, Dodgeland 18

Riley Parker and Willow Lee each scored 16 points as the host Glarner Knights (11-12) topped the Trojans (5-18).

Julia Barnaby added 11 points for New Glarus.

Division 5

Black Hawk 96, Country Day 21

Hannah Butler scored 13 of her 17 points in the first half as the host Warriors (23-0) cruised past the Prairie Hawks (1-22).

Natalie Leuzinger added 14 points for Black Hawk. Country Day’s Ella Lauten had nine points.

Barneveld 70, Madison Abundant Life 30

Senior Courtney Skaife scored 17 points as the host Eagles (13-10) defeated the Challengers (6-17).

Senior Taryn Pickarts added 15 points for Barneveld. Sophomore Addy Schmiesing led Abundant Life with eight.

Deerfield 42, Rio 33

Calli Schindler scored 19 points as the visiting Demons (8-15) erased a 10-point halftime deficit to upset the No. 7 Vikings (14-9).

Jayme Fischer scored 15 points for visiting Deerfield. Rio’s Jordyn Hutzler notched 19 points.
