Madison East junior Justice Filip has been selected to compete in the third annual 3-Point Challenge prior to Saturday’s championship games at the WIAA state girls basketball tournament at the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon. 

The 3-point event will begin at 9:30 a.m. A ticket for the Division 3, 4, 5 championship game session is required to attend the 3-point event.

The top two players per division were chosen for the contest, based on the best 3-point field goal percentage with a minimum of 75 attempts during the regular season.

Division 1 representatives are Filip and Germantown freshman Natalie McNeal. Division 2 representatives are Holmen junior Brooklyn Paulson and West De Pere junior Brehna Evans.

Division 3 participants are Somerset senior Tori Martell and Kiel sophomore Savannah Walsdorf. Division 4 representatives are Stanley-Boyd sophomore Arianna Mason and Laconia senior Caitlyn Tipton. Representing Division 5 will be Riverdale senior McKenzie Couey and Shullsburg senior Hattie Rennert.
